Poison found in ditch by beach trail

Two bags of poison were found in a ditch immediately adjacent to a trail to the beach, about 8 p.m. on Wednesday, 22 April 2009.

The local phone network got going, and people are being asked to keep their dogs on-leash; even so, a dog can grab and swallow before the handler can stop the dog.
