As you can see, you merely insert "ob" before each vowel or vowel combination.
I was trying this out last night, collapsing in fits of laughter at the ridiculousness of it all.
I found it very difficult to sort out some words, such as "hamburger." I was trying to say, "Can you make a hamburger?"
That comes out:
CobAN YobOU MobAKE obA HobAMBobURGobER?
I was all right until I reached "hamburger." Then I stumbled and my tongue fumbled, and I couldn't manage it. That made me laugh. Kwali and Kumbi thought I'd gone nuts.
Hey! You don't have to say they were right.
I suppose part of the charm of this sort of thing for me is what I mentioned before - the sing-song nature of the sounds. I always did like music.
Because I've half-remembered a third fake language; at least, I remembered parts of the sounds of it.
Or, more likely, they will teach some such thing to you, if children still play with these things, as I hope they do.
I might add that it does take a little practice to say these "words," and perhaps more, to hear them and sort them out so you can understand somebody else speaking Pig Latin, ObyDoby, or one of the variants.
The charm of it for me is the BobUBBLobY BRobOOK obEFFobECT.
And how about names?
KWobALobI obIS wobUN obOF MobY DobOGS. KobUMobBI obIS MobY obOTHobER DobOG. PRobANSobY obIS MobY CobAT. MobY NobAME obIS CobARobOL.

To me, it's a joke. But when my mother told me about Pig Latin, she said it's a secret language that grownups don't usually understand, so it gives children a way to talk to each other without their grown-up supervisors understanding everything they say!
Imagine the appeal to children!
However, my high school classmates had grown past Pig Latin, and were speaking ObyDoby and that third language I don't remember. Marga, do you remember? What was it?
For teens, I think the great appeal is the fluency and the bubbliness, along with the remaining fact that beleaguered, work-worn adults probably wouldn't take the time to study enough so as to track "secret" conversations between teens.
Now let's try it in other languages!
