[c103910cdop-gelcap203.jpg] Heavily coated Biosponge capsule
It is, however, coated with it, both inside and out. I had used this capsule to practice with, and then dumped the Biosponge back into its container.
If one of these two powders - Tylosin and Biosponge - has to fawn itself all over us, I think we can be thankful it's the pleaaant-enough Biosponge instead of the stinky Tylosin.
So, Biosponge is like fine flour; Tylosin, like fine sand.
Biosponge coats from the start; Tylosin only after some time, and far less heavily.
CREDITS Thanks to pharmacist Ron Kumar, for describing to me the "Powder-Push" method I'm using for the Biosponge "FlyAway" powder.
Thanks to Tech Nancy at Saseenos Veterinary Services, for suggesting the Monoject 412 syringe to get the powder into the gelcaps. This didn't work for Biosponge, but it worked really well for the Tylosin.
